Where is it?

The Isle of Man is located in the middle of the Irish Sea, halfway between Britain and Ireland and right at the centre of the Bristish Isles.

A History of Stability

The Isle of Man can boast of having the oldest continuously serving parliament in the world Tynwald.

The Island’s history is one of political and economic stability, which is why it is often seen as a haven of security in a sometimes dangerous and unstable world.

Many international financial services companies have realised this, and the Island is home to a large number of well-known and highly respected business names.

The regulation controlling the Isle of Man is also one with a history of innovation and stability. For example, the Island was the first offshore centre to be granted Designated Territory Status within the UK’s Financial Services Act. Ample evidence that the Island can clearly demonstrate that its corporate legal framework offers appropriate protection to investors and policyholders.

In fact, all the Island’s business-based legislation has been enacted to ensure that the hard-won reputation for integrity, stability and fairness is always properly protected.

Why the Isle of Man?

The Isle of Man has won many awards. These awards recognise the Isle of Man as a centre of excellence in the financial services industry and reaffirm its position as a leading global offshore centre.
