Isle of Man
AAA Credit Rating

Continued confidence in the Isle of Man

Both Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s have again awarded the Isle of Man their highest sovereign credit rating. The AAA rating means the Isle of Man economy continues to be considered a great place to do business.

A buoyant and dynamic economy, conservative financial management, integration with the UK and agreements made with both the EU and OECD by the Island’s government have all contributed to the high rating.

Do you get the service you want?

Writer and Management Consultant Peter Drucker said that, "quality in a service is not what the supplier puts in, but what the customer gets out.’ In these fast paced, technology driven competitive times, it can be easy to place the needs of the organisation ahead of the needs of its customers, and many companies do.

What customer wants to be faced with “Press 1 for accounts, 2 for customer services” when phoning a company, for example? Yet, large and small enterprises are kidding themselves into the belief that this efficiency is what customers are looking for. Customers want to engage with a fellow human being, and they don’t care about the "efficiencies’ a company enjoys by providing a robot instead and failing to meet this most basic of human needs.

There are numerous articles online with "Top Tips’ on how to deliver exceptional customer service. The first in most of them is "Answer the Phone’ – such a simple thing and proves the value of personal and courteous contact with customers.

At BW Group, we take some comfort from this basic insight. Personal contact and bespoke service is central to our business. With a team of professionally qualified, experienced and long serving people providing our services, quality in, results in quality out, for you, our business partners and customers.
